The 54th Annual Grammy Awards was held last Sunday, February 12, 2012, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This year?s Grammy Awards was a bit lonely and sad because they paid tribute to one of the stars that made a great name in the music industry, Whitney Houston.

The Grammy Award is an accolade held every year by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States that serves as an award body that recognize outstanding achievement in the music industry. This annual presentation ceremony features the performances of prominent and well-known artists and some of the awards of more popular interest that are presented in a widely viewed televised ceremony. This ceremony is star-studded with a lot of famous artists presenting their best in the red carpet. But the Grammy Awards 2012 was a bit heavy to celebrate because most of the artists who won still mourn for the death of one of the greatest singers in the world.
